Our passion is to design and create beautiful handcrafted jewellery, specific to your institution and the occasion it is designed to represent. We create necklaces, rings, cufflinks and other requested items of jewellery infused with your story and handcrafted in your choice of precious metals. Every piece we create is unique. It begins as a sketch by renowned jewellery designer Daniel Bentley, and once approved, is transformed into a memorable, lasting link to you.

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN BESPOKE
SYMBOLS & MILESTONES PIECE

Step 1: Pre-consultation

After receiving your initial enquiry, Daniel will arrange a face to face meeting where he
can show you previous projects to help you get a better understanding of the quality,
craftsmanship and symbolism incorporated into each piece. This is also the ideal time to
outline project cost ranges prior to beginning the design phase. For
international/interstate clients, this consultation can take place virtually.

VIEW PAST SYMBOLIC DESIGN

Step 2: Preliminary Design Meeting

At this point Daniel will have a range of designs sketched out and will explain the
symbology of each design and the merits of each iteration. From this meeting a final
design will be sketched.

REQUEST A CONSULTATION

Step 3: Review your final design and confirm quote

Daniel will arrange a follow-up meeting to talk you through the final design and the
incorporated symbolism that is unique to your institution. Once this design is confirmed,
we will send you a final quote outlining all of the details.

Step 4: Confirm your order

On approval of your quote, a deposit is required to secure your bespoke Symbols &
Milestones order. We will also send you our terms of commission to sign. At this stage, we
will be able to advise on an estimated completion date for your special piece. Your order
will then begin production with the balance due on completion.

Step 5: The Masterpiece

Daniel then transforms your design from pen and paper into a ‘masterpiece’ crafted in
precious metal for your final approval. This pre-production piece then forms the template
for every other piece created by our team of craftsmen.

Step 6: Customised packaging

Presentation is everything, which is why it is important to have the right jewellery box for
your piece. We have a range of high quality options we can offer which can include your
logo hot-stamped, inside and out. We also provide a small card explaining the attributes
of the piece and the inspiration behind the design.

Step 7: Quality check

Once your project order is complete, and each piece has undergone its final polish, it is
put through our stringent quality assessment process, whereby we check every single
detail under close scrutiny to ensure it meets our stringent quality criteria. The client is
then notified of completion and the balance payment is requested.

Step 8: Delivery

Each piece is carefully packaged and prepared for personal delivery, postage or
collection, ready to become a special part of someone’s personal story and a lasting
bond with your institution.
